Getting together for club star parties or providing public star parties is one of the great activities provided by CVAS.
Sharing astronomy with each other and the general public is what it’s all about.   We find the public to be very supportive of these events. Who knows how many we can reach that might be the next great astronomer.

Several CVAS members along with many from the Salt Lake Astronomical Society attend Astronomy at Bryce Canon, June 2016 where over 800 park visitors each night enjoyed viewing the sky in many telescopes.
